Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and LiveSlates ("we", "us", "LiveSlates"), governing your use of liveslates.com and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. What LiveSlates is — and isn't
LiveSlates is an information and analytics tool that lets you track your own daily-fantasy-sports (DFS) lineups, see live scoring, pace, optimal lineups and related statistics. LiveSlates is not a gambling operator, sportsbook, or DFS contest provider. We do not accept wagers or entries, run contests, or hold or handle any money or prizes. We are an independent third-party tool and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by DraftKings, FanDuel, FanTeam, or any sports league or data provider. Their names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and legally permitted to participate in DFS in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of DFS and of this Service is lawful where you are.
3. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@liveslates.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service; scrape or resell our data; reverse-engineer the Service; or use it for any unlawful purpose.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the lineups, projections and data you create or upload. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to operate the Service for you.
6. No guarantees & not advice
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Live scores, projections, optimal lineups and other figures may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate — they depend on third-party data feeds outside our control. Nothing in the Service is betting, financial, or professional advice, and we make no guarantee of any outcome, winnings, or accuracy. Any decisions you make are entirely your own responsibility.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, winnings, or data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service or from reliance on any information it provides. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
8. Subscriptions & payment
Some features may be offered on a paid basis. Where they are, pricing, billing and cancellation terms will be presented to you before you subscribe and form part of these Terms. [Paid plans not yet active — this section will be expanded at launch of paid tiers.]
9. Suspension & termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or other users.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "last updated" date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
