There are two ways to get a lineup into LiveSlates: import the entries you've already made on the platform you play on, or build one here from scratch. Most people import — it's faster and it brings every entry across at once.
Import your existing entries
From FanTeam
FanTeam has no export button, so LiveSlates uses a small bookmarklet — a one-click bookmark that reads your entries straight from FanTeam and syncs them across. It's read-only: it never changes anything on FanTeam, and it uses your own logged-in FanTeam session.
- Install the bookmarklet once — drag it to your bookmarks bar from Settings → Connections.
- Log in to FanTeam in the same browser and open your tournament.
- Click the LiveSlates bookmarklet. It reads your entries and syncs them over — you'll see a confirmation like "Synced 1 lineup on 1 slate."
Re-run the bookmarklet any time you edit a lineup on FanTeam and it'll update the copy in LiveSlates.
Nothing to reinstall
The bookmarklet loads its latest code fresh every time you click it — you only ever add it to your bookmarks once.
Build one here instead
Prefer to build from scratch, or playing a format you haven't entered yet? Open a slate and hit Add lineup — you'll land on the build page, where you pick each slot from the searchable player pool. The same Import in bulk panel is there too if you'd rather bring entries across.
- The salary cap is enforced as you go — you'll always know how much you have left.
- Roster slots match the format exactly, including Captain / multiplier slots where the sport uses them.
- Save it, and it tracks live just like an imported entry.
Bring one lineup or a hundred
Add as many lineups as you like to a slate. On the live dashboard they all track at once, and your combined player exposure across every entry rolls up automatically — so you can see at a glance where you're heavy.
Next step
Lineups score against the numbers you trust. Head to Adding your projections so pace, the optimal and projected-finish all have something to measure against.
