LiveSlates deliberately doesn't make projections for you. You bring the numbers you trust — from your own model, a spreadsheet, or a projections site — and we put them to work: pace, projected finish and the optimal lineup all measure against your projections, not ours.
Bring nothing and everything still tracks live; you just won't get pace or a projected final until there's a projection to compare against.
Where projections go
Open a slate and use the Projections tab (or the Projections page for a slate-by-slate view). You can:
- Paste projections for the players in your lineups, or
- Reveal the full player pool and project anyone on the slate.
Enter one number per player — your projected fantasy points for the slate. That's all pace and the optimal need.
Whose numbers?
Projections are private to your account. They're never shared with other users, and they don't affect anyone else's dashboard.
What your projections power
- Pace — is each player ahead of or behind the rate they'd need to hit your number? Green is ahead, red is behind.
- Projected finish — an estimated final score for each lineup, blending points already banked with what's still to come.
- The optimal lineup — pre-game, the best build from your projections; live, it swings to actual points as they land.
Keeping them current
Update a projection any time — before lock or mid-slate — and pace and the optimal recalculate on the next refresh. A stale projection just means pace is measuring against an old target, so it's worth a quick pass before lock.
