When games are live, LiveSlates scores every player in your lineups in real time. Here's what's happening under the hood — and why the number you see here matches the one in your contest.
Where the numbers come from
LiveSlates connects to official sport data feeds and polls for live stats every 30 seconds while games are active.
Those stats are mapped to FanTeam's official scoring rules — the exact point values for every stat, per sport — so the total you see in LiveSlates matches what you'll see on FanTeam, always to two decimals.
How fast it updates
Scores update automatically — no refresh needed. A pulsing green dot in the nav shows when live data is flowing.
There can be a short lag between a real-world event and it landing in LiveSlates, but it's typically under a minute. If a game is genuinely mid-play but the feed goes quiet, the dashboard flags it rather than silently showing a frozen score.
Two decimals, always
Live fantasy points are shown to two decimal places — the same precision your contest settles on — so a lineup that's 0.3 ahead reads as 0.3 ahead, not a rounded tie.
What it doesn't do
LiveSlates is a tracking and analytics tool only. It does not place entries, charge entry fees, or interact with the platform you play on. You enter your contests wherever you play; we just make the sweat make sense.
