Short answer: Following one lineup live is manageable. Following a big pool of entries is a different problem: you cannot watch twenty tabs, and what you really need is the aggregate picture, your total exposure to each player and how your whole slate is tracking at once. The free options do not do this, so multi-entry players either build a spreadsheet or use a tracker that rolls all their entries into one live view.
The multi-entry problem
If you fire more than a handful of lineups, the single-lineup view stops helping. The same player sits in ten of your entries, so one big play or one injury swings your whole slate at once, and you cannot see that by flicking between individual lineups. The question is not "how is lineup 7 doing", it is "how exposed am I to this player, and is my slate as a whole winning".
What you actually want to see
- Exposure: what percentage of your entries hold each player, so you know instantly how much a given performance helps or hurts you.
- Aggregate pace: how your entire pool is tracking against projection, not one lineup at a time.
- Your best and worst entries live: where the upside and the damage are concentrated right now.
How to do it
- A spreadsheet. Serious grinders build one that ingests their entries and live stats. Powerful and fully yours, but real time to build and maintain, and fragile when a feed changes.
